PRAYER

The following Scripture was written by King Solomon to his love and has great significance to me.

See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone.  Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.
The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.

Song of Solomon 2:11-13 (NIV)

When I read this, Jesus is calling me, saying “Arise, Suzanne, out of your daily troubles and follow me. You are my beautiful, precious child.” Now, dear friend, reread that last sentence with your name instead of mine.

Transformation Prayer:

Father, I want to be transformed. Lord, I want my life to be something precious and beautiful to You. I want a relationship with You. Now is the time. I believe, Lord Jesus, that You died for my sins, and that God, by His grace, resurrected You. I, too, want a life resurrected. I ask for forgiveness for the times when I followed my own will instead of Your will. Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit and show me the right path so that I will receive a crown of glory that will last forever. Lord, You promise that if I seek You I will find You. I am seeking You, Lord. I pray in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Lord is my shepherd. He gives me everything I need. He lets me lie down in fields of green grass. He leads me beside quiet waters. He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths for the honor of His name. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid. You are with me. Your shepherd’s rod and staff comfort me. You prepare a feast for me right in front of my enemies. You pour oil on my head. My cup runs over. I am sure that your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life. And I will live in the house of the Lord forever.

Psalm 23

Amazing, uplifting, true, challenging. May you have the life God has in store for you, so you can hear those words we all want to hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant”
You are indeed transformed…..

Hi Suzanne,
Praise the Lord for your encouraging words of faith, hope and joy in the midst of trouble. We are watching 5 caterpillars right this moment transform. How wonderful the Lord is to lead me to your blog while my children and I are learning all about butterflies. I look forward to sharing this blog and the one written by your 13 year old friend with my kids as we learn and watch how God transforms butterflies and our lives.

Dear Suzanne:
Thank you for speaking boldly about your precious journey of transformation, while honoring our cousin Philip. I am deeply touched by your testimony and rejoice over the deep and eternal work that God has done in your heart. The scriptures that you shared are so alive and full of confirmation of the truths He was teaching you. Thank you for sharing this; my heart is stirred to be more zealous to learn of Him. I praise His name for His wonderous love and mercy that draws us to Him.
